The TREC Foundation has provided $4,365.00 in grants to the Erie Bird Observatory (EBO), which was founded in January 2018.
- Storage Trailer for Bird Banding – All banding data that is collected at Presque Isle State Park is submitted to and kept by the Bird Banding Laboratory of the U.S. Department of the Interior.
- Equipment – Acquisition of specialized equipment for the EBO's newly established Waterbird Monitoring program.
